SecurityThe five lines buyers ask about · Updated 22 Aug 2026

Data handling

What happens to your data when a remote operator drives your robot. Each line below is something we will put in writing in a customer agreement.

[ 01 ]

No raw video leaves your site

Operators act on a 3D-reconstructed map of the robot's workspace, never on raw camera images or video. The reconstruction carries the geometry an operator needs to move the robot and nothing else. Raw customer imagery stays inside your deployment and is not transmitted to our operators or hubs.

[ 02 ]

In-house operators

Every Aktoria operator is staffed in-house at our own hubs in the USA, Mexico and India. We do not subcontract sessions to third-party BPOs or gig platforms. Operators are trained on your task before taking a shift and work under supervision on the floor.

[ 03 ]

Your episodes, your data

Every session is logged as an episode: telemetry, operator actions and the reconstruction, aligned in time. The customer owns their episodes. You can export them in the formats we deliver training data in, and you can ask us to delete them.

[ 04 ]

Encrypted in transit

The link between your robot and the operator is encrypted in transit across the public internet. Transport uses WebRTC with DTLS-SRTP [confirm exact protocol line]. Credentials and session tokens are scoped per deployment.

[ 05 ]

Compliance

SOC 2 / ISO 27001 are on our roadmap. We do not currently claim certification; ask us for the current status and the controls already in place. We will complete your security questionnaire and sign an NDA and DPA as part of onboarding.
